The EIRAC Plenary brings together around 50 authoritative representatives of the main stakeholders (i.e. manufacturers, shippers, carriers) in the Intermodal market, who contributed to the definition of the Strategic Intermodal Research Agenda and of its Implementation Plan, in order to influence the European and National research programmes, and who will contribute to the update and extension of the mentioned documents.

The Task Force represents the "executive" body of the EIRAC, able to react as quickly as possible to specific requests coming from the EU, Members States or any other interested stakeholder, as appropriate.

The Mirror Group is composed by experts representing Member and Accession States, who will promote and endorse the EIRAC achievements at national level.

The Group of National Technology Platform Representatives is composed of Representatives of National Technology Platforms (TP) for Intermodality and Logistics; ensures a permanent and effective link between the EIRAC and the National TPs.

The Innovation Manager stimulates and fosters the discussion between the EIRAC members, helping them in identifying the topics with the highest potential for change, encouraging the market-uptake of innovations, while searching for synergies between EIRAC and EIA.
